Ministry Vision
“If we will take hold of these very basic principles,
there is no limit to what God will do in our midst.”
-Reverend Doctor Owen L. Alston
We as a body must be committed to the work of the ministry. This means that we must make individual commitments to what ever we are called or asked to do.
To operate in faithfulness, we must walk by faith. The word must be first and foremost in our lives. Faithfulness produces punctuality. As leaders, these traits must be demonstrated in all our activities.
Love should be the motivating factor in all that we say or do.Our conduct should be the fulfillment of the commandment of our Lord that declares- we should love one another as He has loved us. In order for us to accomplish God’s purpose, His love must be genuine in us.
What would the church be like if everyone were like me? We are examples. We are representatives of Jesus- in appearance, in conduct, in speech, and in all that we are. We are sent to carry the gospel to the world-let us do it in excellence of ministry.
We are one in Christ. Know we no man after the flesh any longer.
Wherefore, henceforth know we no man after the flesh; yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (II Cor. 5:16,17) We must allow the grace of God to knit our hearts together in love that we may demonstrate to the world true Christianity.
